Travel and traffic update

By car / by bus

The A14 motorway, also known as the Bologna-Taranto or Adriatica motorway, is regularly open to traffic.
For up-to-date information on traffic conditions consult Autostrade Italia.

Restoration work on the state, provincial and municipal road network is still going on after the exceptional wave of bad weather that hit some areas of Emilia Romagna.

By train

The Bologna-Rimini railway line, as well as the Ferrara-Ravenna-Rimini line has been completely reopened to passenger traffic.

The availability of trains will not be completely normalized immediately and this could lead to some changes to the service and an extension of the journey times.

By plane

All Emilia-Romagna airports are open and operational and all flights are confirmed. For flight information consult:

By boat

All cruises departing from and arriving at the Ravenna Cruise Terminal (Porto Corsini) are confirmed.

Beaches and Bathing establishments

From Comacchio to Cattolica, the beaches of the Riviera Romagnola have been restored and are perfectly accessible. The bathing establishments of the whole coast have resumed their regular activity.

All the amusement parks of the Romagna Riviera have reopened their gates to the public.

Cities of art and historical monuments of Emilia-Romagna

Most of the monuments and cultural places in the cities of art and in the provincial capitals of Romagna are open again. The historic centers of the towns are perfectly accessible, as are their commercial activities.

Bologna

All of Bologna's main tourist attractions are open and the city's historical center is fully accessible, as are its commercial activities (see webcam).
The Via degli Dei hiking route, which connects the cities of Bologna and Florence through the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, has also reopened with some detours for safe walking.

Imola

All major tourist attractions in Imola, including the Rocca Sforzesca and the Civic Museums, are open and operational. The Enzo and Dino Ferrari Autodrome is open regularly and guided racetrack tours are bookable.
